We are living in an age of disruption. Emerging technologies change our lives faster from day to day. However, most of the recent innovative trends remain to be understood only by experts. At the same time, trust in the media is shaking, as fake news can spread like wildfire. How can we navigate this world of rapid change and misinformation?

It is time to tell stories of technology, placed in its context and in regard to its impact. Stories that connect people across borders and cultures and explain technology at the intersection of business, economy and politics. Besides helping to understand the impact of current innovations, sincere narratives can return trust to a global audience.

We are delighted to welcome Angie Lau as a guest speaker. As a Hong Kong-born experienced broadcast journalist and media founder, she is crafting stories that emerge in Asia and travel the world to connect people and ideas. This is your opportunity to listen to her personal experience and understand Asia’s role in this global story of technology innovation. There will be a Q&A session at the end.

Join our public AES Online Speaker Event “Technology Stories – from Asia, to the World” on Friday, May 7 from 11 AM to 12 PM via Zoom. Please register via the box below.
